I had this banana that was a lot more ripe than I would even consider eating and some strawberries that I was getting really sick of. Et Viola! Strawberry Banana Muffins. And they are really good, too.

I actually worked on my blog a little today. It’s rainy. At least it isn’t snow! Doug has been painting and I have been ignoring him. I think I am going to have to paint around the windows, but I woke up with my knees aching so I have been trying to maintain a low profile.
The cats are not happy about the rain. They have been going in and out all day.
I took this through the window that I am probably going to have to paint around. Later, she decided to help with the painting.

He went back to bed.
This gave him the fright of his life.
This is a great looking heel.
Now she’s catching up on her sleep.
Here is how it looked this afternoon.
Sorry, but I just couldn’t get a good picture. She was too fast for me.
Maude wouldn’t let me.

And this one had nothing to do with it.

There was also a Great Blue, but I couldn’t get them all in the same shot. There is also a duck nesting on the same island as the goose. I hope I am home when they begin to hatch. I was last year. They were born in the pouring rain. I don’t guess it mattered to them, but I had to watch from inside.
Then I ironed them flat.
And stared slicing them for four patches.
You know what? I need to make about two miles of strips. One mile wasn’t enough!
Can you see the goose sitting on her eggs. I forget my extra lens when I walked around the bulkhead. Maybe I’ll get a better picture next week if I remember the lens.
