Up a Creek in Lower Slower Delaware

200 yards DK(sport) yarn

Size 3 needles, 16 inch circular and set of double points.

Cast on 128 stitches.  Knit in the round for 6 rounds.  Knit 1, purl 1 for 3 rounds.  Knit 15, yarn over,  knit 2 together for 40 rounds.

Start to decrease.  Knit 15, knit 2 together.  Next row, knit.   Continue to decrease every other row until 8 stitches remain.  Knit 2 together 4 times.  Knit I-cord for 5 inches.  Using Nicky Epstein’s Knitted Embellishments, finish it off with a leaf.
