I stopped in Catonsville before I got to Reisterstown. I needed a needle for class. I was surprised that I didn’t have every single size and type in existence. I also bought some yarn. What can I say? It’s hot pink and orange. I’ll post a picture when I get back. I also went to the fabric shop next door. They had a lot of Laurel Burch Christmas fabric. I bought two panels and some yellow. When I got to the house, I called Doug and had him look for the directions for a wall hanging. He said he really the fabrics and could I make a bed quilt. I am not ready for that yet. I haven’t finished the last one.
It rained all last night and I thought that it was over. I wanted to get some fabric for new nighties. I found three and decided to go to Parkville. When I was about half way there, the skies opened again. It poured while I was in the store and it was impossible see to drive. I wanted to go to one more place, but I didn’t. It wasn’t worth the effort.

Yucky weather sure can spoil a gals fun. It is so windy here the last two days, I don’t want to even stick my big toe outside. I did go yesterday and get my hair cut.

That reminded me, I worked for Laurel Burch from ’89 -’91. She was launching a catalog, but it never got off the ground due to other problems in the company. At the time I suggested cross stitch kits to her. She didn’t think her customers were into that. Over the years I lost track of her, heard she was on QVC and then started seeing her notecards, fabric, etc. in catalogs.
I just looked her up, and had no idea she died last year! Wow. Seems like I would have seen it in the paper since she lived in Marin.
