It’s really been cold for the past few days. I even had to wear a coat. Yesterday, it was so windy, we didn’t get very far. Today, with no wind, we were out for quite a while. I was really tired and achy when we got back.
I tried to finish my daughter’s calendar quilt this afternoon and had to stop. Usually, I can sit there for hours, but now today. So I decided it was time to put up the Christmas tree. Well, I got Doug to bring it up from the cellar. No matter what we did, we couldn’t some of the strings of lights to work. Bummer. We’ve got to find some more lights. I never did get any ornaments on.

Up a Creek in Lower Slower Delaware

I think every joint in my body was kicking up a fuss the last few days. Tonight it is supposed to go down to minus fifty with the wind chill. Now that the cold front moved in my joints quit hurting. Now I just hope I don’t have to leave the house for a few days until this cold goes away.
I want to buy one of those trees that come with the lights already on. All you have to do is plug it in. I hate putting the lights on the tree.
