Bella Mittens

p1010796The finished the Bella Mittens this morning.  It’s a free pattern.  They went up fast.  I’d say it took me about three movies to finish.  The pattern calls for the one long circular needle method.  I have tried that, but it wasn’t for me.  I did it on double points.  It’s what I’m used to working on.   The pattern itself was well written and easy to follow.  I’d recommend it to anyone.  The yarn is 100% wool that I bought at MD Sheep & Wool one year.  She comes every year and all her  yarn is like this.  I believe she is from Vermont, but I can’t for the life of me remember the name.

Doug painted the ceiling this afternoon while I was at knitting group.  Tomorrow, we are going to look at wall paint.  Onece we are finished painting, Frank will come back and do the framing.  I’ll be so glad when it’s all finished and we can put everything back the way it belongs.

I hope there’s something interesting on tonight.  I would really like to sit and knit for a while.

I agree with you on using long circulars or 2 circulars to knit in the round, seems more trouble than it’s worth. Using dpn’s is so much easier. Great job on the mittens.

Three movies? That is all? That is a fast knit!
