We sat out on the porch for a couple of hours this afternoon and I worked on the bag while Doug read the newspaper. I finished the bottom and am just starting to come up the sides. The one end needs to be tidied, but that’s not a problem. This is a good, sturdy bottom. I try to keep it in mind next time I make something like this. Beth was kind enough to include knitting in the round and doing each side separately. The fewer seams the better.
I forgot to show you what I got in the mail. I don’t know when I’ll get around to making them, but I couldn’t pass them up.
