A Quilt for Sweetums

He wanted a small quilt for napping in his recliner. He picked a Jim Shore cat BOM that had been sitting on a shelf for a while. It was supposed to have four more blocks, but they were boring. Plus, the twelve squares fit his chair nicely. I had two twin battings, some leftovers and a few yards left from a ten yard roll. None of the leftovers were big enough so I was going to cut some off the roll. Sweetums said, “why not make it a twin?” So I went stash diving and came up with plenty more JS cats.

The quilt is entirely machine made on my Sapphire. Nothing is done by hand. Hand work is for knitting.

The back
And here’s the top before the border.

You can see where the original quilt was on the back. I rather like it. Now I can get some mending accomplished and fix some of our face masks.
