My grandson wanted three Santa hats for figures that he had. He said they should be about three inches in diameter. He has his own place now and wanted to decorate for Christmas.

Luckily, I had everything I needed. I did buy some tiny bells to put in the pompoms. Kevin was very happy with them. The little doll on the left is at least seventy years old. She is wearing a green velvet coat and hat that my grandmother made for her. It matched the hooded coat she made for me. The hood had a leopard print lining. I loved it. Nanny was the best! I always had plenty of doll clothes. She taught me how to sew and embroider. I miss her.

I also made a Christmas gnome. It’s an Alan Dart pattern. I put a pipe cleaner in the tip of the hat. It was easier than using hairspray to put in the kinks.
