Red-winged Blakbird

I was surprised to see a red-winged blackbird on the porch early this morning.  I see them in the trees and the feeder that hangs off the deck.  But this was definitely a first.

    Thank you for the bird images. Is it the angle or does this bird not have a right foot. Looks like it is standing on the ankle. Amazing the resiliance.

    I looked at the other pictures. Unfortunately, they are all rather poor. It was very early, very cloudy and I wasn’t quite awake yet. Both feet are the same.
