It was really cold today. And the wind didn’t help matters any. We didn’t even get to the end of the road. Gus was glad to turn back also.
In an ongoing effort to combat boredom, Maude has been trying to invent new games. Today, it was “Pretend you’re a Pig”.
She had a lot of fun with this one until she forgot how to get down. She shamed herself by crying.

Libby Bean used to always hang out on top of the cupboards. She is too fat and old to get up there now. She has trouble jumping up onto my bed. Shyla can’t jump up anymore either since she injured herself and had to have surgery to fix it. It is nice, no more cats on the counters. They still try for the kitchen table. They use the chairs.
Love your cookie jars!

Hi! I’m Christine’s (Chris’s Coop) daughter-in-law Melissa. I received the little socks you sent for Abigail at my baby shower yesterday and just wanted to stop by and say thanks! They’re absolutely adorable! At first I was a bit sad because I thought they wouldn’t fit her for a long time yet, but we put them on her and they actually work really well as little slippers. So she’ll get TONS of use from them. I’m going to do a baby shower post showing off all her loot on my blog in the next few days and I’ll post a picture of her wearing them. Thanks again!
