Wood Ducks

There were Wood Ducks out by the island this afternoon. They were enjoying the creek bottom. An Egret came by later, but both times I couldn’t get my camera out in time.

These came in the mail today. I don’t know when I’ll get around to making them, but I liked them and they were cheap.

I finished one sock last night. It fits perfectly. I hope to have the other one fixed in a few days.

    Ya knit like a machine lady. I can’t believe that you are done the socks already. They look cozy.

    Regarding the chicken noodle soup…I use whole anise. They are shaped like little stars. They smell heavenly.
