My new blue hat doesn’t come down far enough for this cold weather. It kept creeping up my ears while I was out this morning with Gus. I have such little ears that they just might freeze and fall off. Then, where would I be? I’m going to take it apart to the beginning of the decrease row and put in another row of sloping squares. I’m glad that I made this decision before I made the scarf. Maybe I’ll have enough for a little ascot. They always look nice. Or how about that Chevron Neck Warmer?
This picture should have told me something. But, then, Noro is very loosely spun compared to this yarn.

It was so cold this morning I could not relax. I kept tensing up and that just made me feel worse. Nancy, if you ever move back to Maine, I’ll come visit you in the Summer.
I think I ‘ll put on some Pavarotti and work on the tree. Some days, I don’t turn it on until dusk so I think it’s time.

That is the coolest looking hat I have ever seen! I love it.

Coolest hat and gloves! I have caught up on the sweater. I am going along fast now because I have pretty much memorized the pattern and understand where I am all the time. I don’t think I would have had the patience to have gone back and tried to correct the mistake with the dp needles. I only lost a day…neither here nor there in the scheme of things.
